Tomorrow’s Texas with Clean Energy

A Proud Partner of SmartFlower Solar
Innovative Solar Energy
Henderson Innovation Park proudly hosts five state-of-the-art SmartFlower solar systems, positioning us as the only Innovation, Business, or Industrial park in East Texas with onsite renewable energy. Our decision to partner with SmartFlower aligns with our vision of sustainable development. The SmartFlower’s smart tracking system is its cornerstone, automatically unfolding each morning and using a dual-axis system to follow the sun throughout the day. This ensures a constant 90° angle, resulting in up to 40% more power generation than traditional solar systems, and the ability to produce up to 6,500 kWh/year.
Catch Every Last Ray of Sunlight
The smart tracking system is the core of SmartFlower’s brilliance. Every morning at sunrise, SmartFlower automatically unfolds. The dual-axis system allows SmartFlower’s solar panels to follow the sun across the sky
throughout the day, always maintaining the optimal 90° angle. This makes SmartFlower produce up to 40% more power than a conventional solar system and capable of producing up to 6,500 kWh/year, depending on your location.

Industrial and Manufacturing in Henderson
Henderson, once the gateway for settlers venturing into Texas, continues to be an appealing destination due to its ideal climate, ample water resources, and beautiful landscapes. Today, Henderson is home to a vibrant economy, with more than 470,000 residents living within a 35-mile radius, and over 670,000 within 45 miles.
Over the years, Henderson has evolved into an influential agricultural and industrial center in East Texas, and the future looks even brighter. Enhanced by reliable water resources and superior highway infrastructure, Henderson ensures efficient transportation of goods and availability of rail service via a short line railway.
Since witnessing a surge in industrial development following the East Texas oil boom in the 1930s, Henderson has seen consistent growth in sectors like brick manufacturing, specialty product manufacturing, food processing, metal fabrication, and timber-related industries.
Most of our industrial companies are strategically located within our three industrial parks – the Henderson Industrial Park, Southwest Industrial Park, and Preston Road Industrial Park – further enhancing the city’s economic landscape.
