Moore joins HEDCO staff as new Director of Marketing
On December 27, 2022, Dan Moore became the new Director of Marketing and Business Development for Henderson Economic Development (HEDCO).
Moore is no stranger to HEDCO since he was the reporter for four and half years that covered all their meetings and published them in The Henderson News. He served as the Editor and Publisher of the newspaper for five years prior to accepting the job with HEDCO.
As a result of this assignment, he knew a lot about the vision and mission of HEDCO and its projects which made him a great fit for the position. He is also very connected to the town and knows many of the citizens and leaders of Henderson.
Moore has reported on Economic Development in various cities for some 22 years. He also served as Vice President of the Lindale Economic Development Corporation in 2006 and was very involved the beginning stages of the growth of that city and served on multiple boards and committees.
During his years in the newspaper business, he also served as marketing manager for groups of newspapers and worked with national and regional companies as well as local businesses.
