Rail serves Henderson, Texas

The Henderson Overton Branch Railroad, operated by Blacklands Railroad, interchanges with Union Pacific in Overton, TX and runs approximately 12 miles to Henderson, TX. The railroad serves multiple customers and commodities including asphalt, scrap, lumber, frac sand, aggregate, and chemicals.

It sits in a unique location perfectly suited for chemicals and resins. Close to the Gulf of Mexico, but out of the hurricane zone, the railroad has approximately 200 car spaces of storage. The facility allows shippers across the region to move products by real without being located on the railroad.

The Henderson Overton Branch Railroad offers a transload yard located just west of Henderson, TX. The yard is fenced and has 30 car spots. Lumber, steel, chemicals, sand, and cement are just a few examples of transloaded products. This transload yard serves a 150-mile radius.
